Marshall - Mrs. Dollie Myers Canine, 88, died at 3:40 p.m. Friday in Wabash Valley Nursing Home at Montezuma, where she had been a patient the last 4 months. Mrs. Canine was born in the Byron community June 13, 1877, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Myers. She married Charlie Canine Nov 19, 1901. He died Dec 15, 1962. She was a member of the Lutheran Church at Wallace. Parke County Farm Bureau and Marshall Chapter 438 OES. Survivors include a son, Russell Canine of Chicago, and a brother, Jesse Myers of Crawfordsville. Mrs. Canine was preceded in death by 4 brothers and a sister. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.. Monday at Davies-Tudor Funeral Home in Marshall, where friends may calla fter 2 p.m. Sunday Rev. Ralph Watson will be the minister and burial in Bethany Cemetery. - kbz
